Marine Outboard Motor Fuel Filter Water Separator Replacement

This fuel filter water separator kit is perfect for a variety of universal fuel applications, mostly used on outboard marine engines. It replaces part numbers such as Mercury 35-60494-1, Racor S3213, B32013, 18-7932-1, 18-7932, 18-7928-1, 18-7928, Mercury Marine 35-809097, Racor S3213, Yamaha MAR-24563-03-00, 18-7919, 18-7919-1, 18-7922-1, 18-7922, and 18-7853-1.

To replace the element, follow these steps: 1. Drain the unit by loosening the drain screw. 2. Loosen and remove the filter element. 3. Loosen and remove the bowl from the filter element. Note that the bowl is reusable and should not be discarded unless it is broken. 4. Wipe the O-ring gland clean, and coat the bowl's seal O-ring with fresh oil or grease, then place it back in the gland. Tighten the bowl onto the filter element firmly using a tool. 5. Coat the filter element's seal O-ring with fresh oil or grease and attach the filter element onto the filter head, then tighten it securely with a tool. 6. Run the engine and check for fuel leakage.

PACKAGE: The kit comes with 3/8-Inch Barb x 1/4-Inch NPT brass fittings and a roll of PTFE thread tape. Please wrap teflon tape around the fittings' threads to prevent leaks from these plugs.
